ABOUT (BIO)
Davy Russell designed his first city (on paper) at age 8. His early years were spent prolifically writing about, drawing and creating a vast, intricate world rich with characters, settings and stories. While in highschool, he discovered theater and photography. After directing a one act play his senior year, he decided to pursue a career as a filmmaker, effectively combining his passions of storytelling and creating beautiful images.
Outside of film and art, Davy Russell has had success as the creator and publisher of one of the largest paranormal magazines on the web from 1998 until he sold it in 2004. The experience brought him to haunted hotspots all over including a three-week lake serpent hunt in Norway.
Davy Russell is a busy filmmaker and freelance videographer currently working toward directing his first feature film. When not writing, shooting or editing, he paints, draws, and practices photography. Some other goals he has is to learn stunt driving, run a marathon and skydive.
Davy lives in Chicago with his beautiful wife, Tracy, and their two spoiled cats.
