CREATIVE FILMMAKING PORTFOLIO
Davy Russell's background in still photography and his love of theater lead him to pursue a career in film and video production. Since attending film school in 2002, he has worked on numerous short films, music videos and documentary productions as well as many freelance video projects. His work has screened at the Vermont International Film Festival and First Night Burlington. He is now located in Chicago, Illinois.
RECENT PROJECTS AS PRODUCER/DIRECTOR:
Once in a While (2008) - A music video for the song, "Once in a While", by musician Eric Lindberg. Directed, shot and edited by Davy Russell.
Nice Car! (2007) - A short comedy about a man who attracts the wrong woman with his Ferrari. Written, produced, directed and edited by Davy Russell.
Drake Mountain (2006) - A serial documentary following the spooky (fictional) adventures of six paranormal enthusiasts who camped out on a haunted mountain in Vermont for five days. Ten episodes were shot and uploaded to YouTube during one week in October 2006.

PAST WORK:
From 2003 to 2006, Davy Russell was a key player in the Vermont-based group, Burlington Filmmakers. Through this collaborative of independent and aspiring filmmakers, he was instrumental in the production of one feature, six short films and two music videos.
Outside of Burlington Filmmakers, Davy has run camera for various freelance projects including one feature and several short films and videos.
